Scott Smith rode up and down the steep climb just before the finish line, and had a strong 13th-place finish in the men's elite field.

Anna Savage raced in the 17-18 at Cyclocross National Championships, which started at the same time as the women's U23.

Katie Johnson raced during a blizzard in the junior women's 15-16, where she finished a pretty amazing 13th.

Aiden Mapel raced in the 15-16 junior men, just as the snow started to fall heavily on an icy course.

Mira Fowler, 14, made her Cyclocross Nationals debut in the girls 13-14 race.

A bundled-up Jaden Wise, 14, raced early in the morning in the junior boys 13-14 at Cx Nationals, finishing 25th in a stacked field of more than 60 riders.

JAM Fund Co-Founder and Coach Alec Donahue, who takes care of all the team logistics at the race venue, somehow found time to race the men's 40-44 at Cyclocross National Championships.
