The Mini Fundo is recommended for riders who don’t want to be in the saddle all day. It features the same challenging beginnings as our longer rides including the notorious climb up Kings Highway. With about 3,000 feet of climbing and plenty of dirt sections, the Mini Fundo should take you about three hours. Once you return, snacks will be available until the traditional pig roast and barbecue starts at 2:00 p.m.
DISTANCE: 68 MILES
The classic Grand Fundo is our signature ride and includes approximately 20 miles of maintained dirt roads in good ridable condition. There are some steep sections between miles 12 and 20 and then it eases up after the midway point. It is a challenging ride best for seasoned cyclists. We expect most riders to finish in four hours.
DISTANCE: 78 MILES
For the heavy hitters, we present our most challenging ride, the 78-mile Grand Hundo. We’ll have extra rest stops for you, but this ride has skulls and cross bones for a reason. The Hundo doubles the amount of elevation gain on the Grand Fundo route. We expect this loop to add 1.5 hours to the front runners times, with the top riders finishing in about five hours.
Our program runs on your generous donations. Without them our van would run out of gas and we'd never make it to the races! Thank you for supporting tomorrow's cross pros.
